| Following the success of his prostate protocol, Ben Pfeifer is currently working on a similar breast cancer protocol. This protocol is not yet as developed as Pfeifer's prostate protocol, although preliminary studies are positive.
The protocol is based around three nutritional supplements: BioBran, Indol-3-Carbinol and Imusan.
1) Biobran: a potent and tested immunomodulator made from rice bran.
2)
Indol-3-Carbinol is a compound found in cruciferous vegetables with anti-carcinogenic effects, important for detoxification of unhealthy oestrogenic metabolites.
3)
Imusan is a herbal extract formulation containing 15 medicinal plants with protective benefits.
A small 22 patient study of metastatic breast cancer using 600mg of Indol-3-Carbinol, 3 grams of BioBran, 600mg of Imusan led to stable tumour markers in 16 of the 22, and an increase in NK cell activity from 160 to 330%.
Professor Pfeifer's protocol for breast cancer can vary depending upon the case. The normal nutrient specification for approximately a 6-month program is given below. A DOCTOR'S SUPERVISION IS ALWAYS RECOMMENDED, AND DO NOT STOP ANY MEDICATION YOU ARE TAKING WITHOUT FIRST CHECKING WITH YOUR DOCTOR.
1) 3 x 1 sachet of Biobran per day
2) 3 x capsules of Indole-3-Carbinol per day
3) 2 x capsules of Imusan per day
DIRECTIONS
BioBran should be taken 20 minutes after a meal. For example 1 sachet 20 minutes after breakfast, and 1 sachet 20 minutes after lunch (or after breakfast and dinner etc.. whichever is preferable).
Indole-3-Carbinol should be taken an hour after a meal. (For example 1 capsule 1 hour after each meal).
Imusan should be taken an hour after a meal. (For example 1 capsule 1 hour after two main meals).
Should you have problems taking the supplements, you can pour out the contents into a glass of water or juice. If nausea occurs with Indole3-Carbinol or Imusan, please take those two supplements with a meal instead.
Notes: Although 3 sachets of Biobran per day is ideal for immunomodulation, it is possible to follow this protocol successfully with just 1 sachet per day, which makes the protocol much less expensive to follow. |
